HELIANTHUS - FEW LEAF SUNFLOWER / BACK TO PERENNIALS
Helianthus augustifolius 'First Light'

Compact form, growing just 48" tall, with 2" bright yellow, daisy-like flowers, with dark centers, blooming Sept.-Oct. Elongated leaves.

Zones 5-9     

Helianthus microcephalus

A woodland native of the Southeast, with small, 1-2", bright yellow flowers blooming on 5-6' stems in Aug.-Sept. Deep green, fine textured foliage. May tolerate some light shade. Attracts bees and butterflies. Makes a great cut flower.

Zones 4-8
