Lychnis coronaria 'Gardener's World'

Named after the popular BBC TV program and magazine, where the plant was studied from discovery to promotion in a feature story. An improvement on the species with larger flower, better color and sterility. Double, rich red, carnation-like flowers bloom in clusters late June-Aug. on 24-26" stems over silver, wooly foliage.
