1.) Spray Liquid Fence for deer and fertilize your plants. 2.) Are your grasses and perennials cut back yet? 3.) Look for Sawfly on your Mugo pines. Spray with Sevin if you see any.  More Bodacious Tips


POLYGONATUM - SOLOMON'S SEAL / BACK TO PERENNIALS

Polygonatum 'Variegatum'

Brighten up a shady spot with this showy, 2-3', variegated perennial! Creamy white-edged leaves, attached to arching stems, are dotted underneath with creamy white, tubular flowers April-May. Spreads to form a colony.

Zones 3-8  

Polygonatum 'Variegatum'

Grows 6-8" tall with white flowers in spring. Nicely clumping as a groundcover.

Zones 4-9  

Polygonatum 'Variegatum'

Graceful, unbranched stems with alternate, oval green leaves on one side and clusters of 3-5 small, pendulous, tubular, white flowers on the other side, May-June. Grows to 24” tall.

Zones 5-8
